Human Growth Hormone (HGH) is a very hot topic with more and more people turning to it as a way to combat aging, for athletic enhancement and as a treatment for various ailments. This has led to many companies offering human HGH for a variety of different reasons with very little information about the side effects and/or the benefits of using human HGH. However, as when using any chemical, there are factors that must be taken into account in order to safely extract the best results possible.
For athletes and body builders, HGH works on the principle of continuing the growth and regeneration of muscle tissues; for people wishing to look younger it can stimulate cells to grow and cause a reduction in the side effects of aging. However because human HGH is a hormone and one that should be treated with respect, is best administered by doctors who are able to carefully control and monitor the changes in a patient’s body. This ensures that the worst side effects can either be avoided or treated without much incidence.
Human Growth Hormones also have a place in the scientific community. Recently, despite the controversy, it has been used to treat patients who suffer with Crohn’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis (to advance remission and increase patient’s recovery), obesity (for weight loss), burn patients and even heart failure. Generally the side effects are mild and only come after a habitual usage pattern has been established. Most commonly joint pain and swelling can be seen. There have also been some possible link to the incidence of colon cancer amongst people who used human HGH at a younger age and it has been shown to increase the risk of diabetes.
